Frequently Asked Questions

Restrictions will be removed on Monday 19th July 2021.

Listed below are the answers to the most common questions we have been asked about vising the pub during the current COVID Restrictions that are place.

Do I have to wear a face covering?

Yes.

You must wear a face covering whenever you are not seated at a table. You can remove your face covering when you are seated, eating and drinking.

Applies inside the pub & outside within the beer garden.

Do I have to book a table?

No.

We are operating a first come, first served walk in service. We have enough socially distant tables to seat 70 people safely outside.

Unfortunately, if we are at capacity and no seating is available when you arrive you may have to wait to be seated.

Applies inside the pub & outside within the beer garden.

Can I come to the bar to place my order?

No.

We are providing table service only. You must be seated at a table either inside or outside to place your order for food and drinks.

Please be patient and polite to all of our members of staff, we're working as hard as we can to ensure your visit is as safe as it can be.

Am I allowed inside to use the toilets?

Yes.

You must remember to wear your face covering when leaving your table and observe social distancing when moving around.

The toilets will be open as usual.

Now there is no 10pm curfew, can we stay in the beer garden after the pub has closed?

No.

We will be calling last orders at 11pm and asking our customers to leave by 11.30pm (10.30pm on Sundays).

We are in close proximity to our residential neighbours and we would ask our customers to be respectful and considerate when seated outside in the beer garden.

Is it safe to come to the pub?

Yes, we believe so.

We have done everything we can to ensure your safety when you visit and we know that you’ll do your upmost to protect yourselves and others around you by observing social distancing and wearing face coverings where appropriate.

We have provided hand sanitisation stations for your convenience and have clear signage displayed with information to help keep you safe.

Can me and my mates stand in the beer garden in one big group?

No.

Currently customers can meet in a group of up to six people from different households; a maximum of two households can meet to form a group of any size but all must remain seated at a table.

From Monday 17th May 2021:

Groups of up to six - or two households of any size - will be allowed inside but table service still applies.

Can I bring my children to the pub?

Yes.

Children & families are always welcome at the pub.

We are of course aware that children love to run around and play and enjoy their visit with their parents but in the interest of our staff and customers safety and to minimise the risk of spreading COVID-19, we respectfully ask that your children remain seated with you at a table.

Can we order food?

Yes.

From Monday 19th April 2021 our kitchen will be open for Delivery, Collection & Outside Dining from 5pm until 9pm, Monday to Saturday.
